Rubber Antioxidant NBC(NDBC)/Light stabilizer NBC)

Dark green powder. Density 126g/cm3. Melting point is not lower than 83°C. Soluble in chloroform, benzene, carbon bisulfide; slightly soluble in acetone and ethanol; insoluble in water and gasoline. It can be stored stably.

Uses:
It is antiozonant for chloroprene rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber, chlorohydrin rubber, styrene butadiene rubber and nitrile butadiene rubber. When used in chloroprene rubber, it can improve the heat resistance and reduce the discoloration in sunlight of rubber, and slightly delay the vulcanization. It is also a kind of thermal stabilizer in chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber vulcanized by metal oxide. In styrene butadiene rubber, it can well protect from aging or flex cracking caused by ozone and weathering. It is not antioxidant, but it can work with antioxidant. It can disperse easily in rubber, and give green color to rubber without pollution. The normal dosage in chloroprene rubber is 1-2 portions, while in styrene butadiene rubber is 0.5-3 portions.
