UV-light stabilizer

Cyanuric chloride is a main component in the synthesis of UV-light stabilizers, which are used frequently in plastics.

The UV-light stabilizers are either UV-absorbers or radical scavengers. They improve the functional life time of plastic materials, and prevent discoloration and brittleness.

The plastics with UV-light stabilizers are therefore widely used, among other applications, in the automotive industry.
